The Executive Centre Opens Branch In AIA Central
HONG KONG – Coworking space operator The Executive Centre (TEC) has announced today the opening of its new outlet at AIA Central, a 37-storey office tower in 1 Connaught Road Central, according to a press release published on Thursday (18 November, SGT).
The new coworking centre represents the company’s 11th location in Hong Kong. Notably, 7 out of 11 of the company’s outlets are all situated in Grade A office buildings in Central, as TEC strongly believes in the importance and prestige of Hong Kong’s traditional business district.
Located on the entire 15th level of AIA Central, the coworking space features 280 workstations and about 15,000 sq ft of office space.
“Our new Centre at AIA Central embraces a brand-new, contemporary design with the aim to provide highly aesthetic and functional spaces to support all aspects of work,” said TEC’s Regional Managing Director for Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, Nadia Zhu.
“As companies worldwide are formulating new workplace strategies, TEC offers the flexible option to embrace hybrid work without losing the rituals of a workplace that facilitates your business success.”
Moreover, Zhu revealed that The Executive Centre’s outlets in the Chinese territory have a healthy average occupancy level of about 90 percent. Its customers in the financial services and consultancy sectors also increased their demand for coworking space, with their take-up of workstations respectively increasing by 24 percent and 57 percent year-on-year.
Interestingly, The Executive Centre branch in AIA Central will feature the 1st Apollo capsule in Hong Kong and 1 of only 22 across the globe. Made by Timothy Oulton Studio, Apollo is a high-end lounge with a polished stainless-steel exterior constructed to the same scale as NASA’s Apollo 11 space capsule. Its customised interior sports a bespoke Odeon pendant, Tomahawk Camel leather, and an Alabaster dining table. This lets members hold private small-group meetings in a luxurious setting.
“TEC has always been the leader in commercial office design across APAC and we pride ourselves on constantly revamping the office space to provide the absolute best experience for our Members. We are honoured and delighted to be able to include the Apollo capsule in our AIA Central Centre. A beautifully designed and meticulously crafted artwork in itself, but also an inspiration for visitors to our Centre who would be reminded of the iconic moment it represents – when man achieved the impossible,” said TEC’s Founder and CEO Paul Salnikow.
The Apollo capsule will be available by the end of 2021 or early 2022.
