Staytion Opens Coworking Space In Paya Lebar

SINGAPORE – In a bid to cater to workers in the east, local start-up Staytion has recently opened a coworking centre at the Paya Lebar MRT Station, according to a report from Mothership last week.

Specifically, the 1,066 sq ft air-conditioned coworking outlet is situated between Exits B and C at the MRT station’s Circle Line side.

The coworking space comes with everything needed by an employee, freelancer, or an entrepreneur, like a printer, Wi-Fi, and charging ports, as well as a pantry and a coffee machine for when clients go hungry.

The coworking centre also contains private phone booths, while those who need to interact with their colleagues can book a small private studio, or the large meeting room that can accommodate up to 10 people.

The Staytion coworking space offers different packages. There are 12 hot desks to choose from, with prices starting from S$5.90 per hour, or S$39 for a full-day pass from 9am to 6pm that also comes with unlimited drinks.

There are also longer-term options, like the lite pass (S$49) and the monthly pass (S$299). With the former, clients can enjoy 1 hour use of the meeting room, 4 full-day visits, and unlimited drinks, on top of a 10 percent discount on food and beverages.

On the other hand, the monthly pass grants five-hour use of the meeting room, full-day access for one entire month. This is in addition to the aforementioned perks given to lite pass holders.

Staytion’s new coworking centre at the Paya Lebar MRT Station represents the start-up’s 2nd flexible office space in Singapore, following the opening of its maiden coworking space at the Marsiling MRT Station in September 2022.

Furthermore, the Singapore-based company is poised to open another coworking outlet within Singapore’s northern region at the Woodlands MRT Station, but exact details of the launch date have not been revealed yet.
