Staytion Opens Coworking Space At Marsiling MRT Station
SINGAPORE – Start-up Staytion has opened its first outlet at the Marsiling MRT Station on Wednesday (28 September), reported The Edge on Thursday afternoon (29 September, SGT).
Its 1st branch measures 2,992 sq ft and offers a 30-seater coworking space, including meeting spaces and private offices. The outlet also offers amenities like coffee and printing facilities.
Clients can opt to desks or a private office via the Staytion’s real-time digital platform. According to its website, prices range from S$4.90 per hour or S$29 daily for a desk.
The start-up also offers membership options, including a “lite” membership package that includes 4 full-day visits per month and the use of a meeting room for one hour. An “unlimited” membership gives customers access to the coworking space, usage of meeting rooms for five hours and complimentary printing amenities (limit of 30 black and white pages and 10 coloured pages). Moreover, all members are eligible for unlimited daily drinks and 10 percent discount on F&B offerings.
As part of its opening promotion, Staytion will offer a 50 percent discount on all memberships. At present, its “lite” membership is going for S$49 per month, while its unlimited plan costs S$299 per month.
The Start-up also revealed that it intends to open two more branches at the Paya Lebar and Woodlands MRT Stations by end-2022. Later this year, it also has plans to open a “collective lifestyle centre” at the Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station.
The centre will provide a lounge for commuters to enjoy lifestyle and F&B offerings such as LuxeStyle, Kith Café, SaladStop!, Takagi Ramen, and agritech company Singrow’s, the 1st urban farm mart in the city-state.
Notably, Staytion aims to open a chain of “multi-concept lifestyle” spaces at MRT stations around Singapore, in a bid to transform the MRT station environment into a more productive and innovative space close to clients homes.
