Singapore’s The Work Project Opens 1st Coworking Space In Australia
AUSTRALIA – The Work Project, a coworking space operator headquartered in Singapore, has opened its maiden outlet in the country, reported The Edge on Tuesday morning (13 December, SGT).
The new 46,285 sq ft flex office space is located across 2 office floors at the 50-storey Quay Quarter Tower in Sydney, Australia.
“The Work Project has had incredible success in creating innovative spaces across Singapore and Hong Kong, so we are excited to see this translate into the Australian landscape through this new Sydney space,” commented Junny Lee, the Chief Executive of The Work Project.
He revealed that the new coworking space caters to different client needs with scalable packages, including day passes, private offices, and dedicated desks, as well as part-time and full-time hot desks.
“We think this new workspace is filling a much-needed gap in Sydney’s small and large business community,” Lee added.
Located on the former site of the former AMP Centre at Bridge Street in Sydney’s central business district (CBD), Quay Quarter forms part of the Quay Quarter Sydney, a harbourside redevelopment site spanning 118,403 sq ft.
Completed this year, the Quay Quarter office building is jointly owned by Dexus Wholesale Property Fund, AMP Capital Wholesale Office Fund, and the Retail Employees Superannuation (Rest Super).
