Singapore’s JustCo To Launch Coworking Space In Taiwan

TAIWAN – Singapore-based JustCo has inked a deal to operate a coworking space in Taiwan, according to a press release published on Tuesday afternoon (17 August, SGT).

Expected to open by January 2022, the coworking space is located in the brand-new Grade A Zhubei Building. In turn, the property is situated within the heart of Hsinchu, Taiwan’s Science Park District that houses 400 tech firms, including two of the world’s biggest semiconductor foundries – United Microelectronics Corporation and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC).

As such, clients at JustCo’s new coworking space in Hsinchu will be able to take advantage of the district’s flourishing innovation and technology ecosystem to grow their business and recruit talent, as well as share expertise and knowledge.

The Singapore-based coworking space operator revealed that it is continuing to expand its presence across the Asia Pacific region. In particular, customers at JustCo Hsinchu will have access to the company’s network of coworking centres located in over 40 locations across 9 cities, including the newly announced outlet in Tokyo, Japan.

“The increasing demand for flexible workspace solutions is in tandem with companies’ shift towards the new work-from-anywhere reality. We are excited to be part of this evolution in Taiwan,” said JustCo’s Founder and Chief Executive Kong Wan Sing.

He pointed out that data from Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) shows that “50 percent of the global workforce has expressed interest to work in both the office and remotely in the post-pandemic world. The future of work points towards flexible workspace solutions backed by the demand for autonomy in deciding where and how to work.”
