Singapore’s CapitaSpring Bags Silver Award For Best Mixed-Use Project
SINGAPORE – CapitaSpring, a 51-storey tower containing 673,000 sq ft of office space and retail premises, has received the second top accolade under the Best Mixed-use Development category at the MIPIM Asia 2022 Awards that was held on 8 December at the Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong, according to a press release published on Media OutReach on Thursday (8 December, SGT).
The Singapore skyscraper was jointly developed by CapitaLand Development, Mitsubishi Estate, and CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust.
Meanwhile, the top award (Gold) for Best Mixed-use Development was clinched by Heartland 66 in Wuhan, China, while the Bronze Award was secured by Toranomon Hills in Tokyo, Japan.
As for the Best Office Development category at the MIPIM Asia 2022 Awards, the Gold Accolade went to Mangoohub in Shanghai, China. The Silver Award was bagged by Hong Kong’s Landmark South, whereas the Bronze Award was clinched by the South China Operation Center in Guangzhou, China.
Aside from that, Singapore’s Lazada One bagged the Bronze Award for Best Refurbished Building.
The Silver Award was obtained by the Bice Building in Adelaide, Australia, while the Link CentralWalk in Shenzhen, China walked away with the top prize.
MIPIM Asia 2022 Awards’ 16-member judging panel was led by Chinachem Group’s Chief Executive Donald Choi. Other prominent members of the jury included Ivanhoe Cambridge’s Co-Head for Asia Pacific George Agethen and Chongbang Group’s CEO Henry Cheng.
