IWG Coworking Space

Plus Building Welcomes IWG Coworking Space

SINGAPORE – IWG, a flexible office space operator based in Switzerland, has rolled out a new coworking space at CapitaLand’s Plus Building in the city-state’s central business district (CBD), reported The Edge on Tuesday afternoon (19 October, SGT).

In particular, the 28-storey office building along 20 Cecil Street in Raffles Place now houses 22,000 sq ft of coworking space across 2 levels under IWG’s Regus brand. Notably, this represents the 16th Regus branded outlet here.

“We saw strong recovery when workplace restrictions were lifted back in mid-August, with IWG centre visits increasing by over 65 percent in September from the month before. This proves that there is a healthy appetite for a return to office if workers were given the flexibility to choose where to work,” commented IWG’s Country Manager in Singapore, Darren Rogers

He said that as Singapore’s central business district looks to regain its vibrancy and more companies consider offering hybrid work arrangements for their staff, demand will continue to return to the flexible office space sector.

“As a business, we are confident that flexible workspaces play a key role in enabling the future of work and will continue to scale up to provide employees, businesses and landlords with more options”, Rogers added.
