Office Floor At Suntec Tower 2 Bought For S$41.15mil
SINGAPORE – It has been learnt that level 31 of Suntec Tower 2 is selling for S$41.15 million, which works out to S$3,350 psf based on the asset’s strata area of around 12,282 sq ft, reported The Business Times on Thursday morning (8 September, SGT).
Upon completion of the office property sale, its psf selling price will set a new record high for an entire floor in the office building. The previous record of S$3,300 psf was set when a Singapore permanent resident (PR) of Chinese descent forked out S$3,300 psf to acquire level 30 in the same building in June 2022. That office floor has a strata area of about 11,743.52 sq ft
Notably, level 31 of Suntec Tower 2 was divested by Arcc Holdings’ Chief Executive Officer Tony Chen and a family member.
Meanwhile, the buyer is a firm whose stockholders are citizens of Cambodia or China. None of the stockholders is a Singapore permanent resident.
The 44-storey Suntec Tower 2 stands on a commercial-zoned site with a remaining leasehold tenure of roughly 65.5 years.
