HK’s 11 Skies Office Complex To Open In July
HONG KONG – 11 Skies, an office and retail complex close to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Hong Kong International Airport, will open in phases starting from July 2022 until 2025, reported The Standard on Wednesday morning (18 May, SGT).
Property owner New World Development revealed that the three Grade A office towers there are called K11 Atelier 11 Skies. They have a combined gross floor area of about 570,000 sq ft and are among the facilities that will open in the next two months.
The office towers will offer standard and open-office configurations, and the office units there measure from 1,259 sq ft to 28,481 sq ft.
Office landlord New World said the three office buildings are positioned as a professional services centre catering mainly to tenants from finance and wealth management as well as wellness and medical services. 11 Skies would also help firms wishing to establish a presence within the heart of the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
According to K11 Concepts’ Vice President of operations Larry Leung, almost 20 tenants have committed to take up space within the office buildings, leasing around 50 percent of the office space.
Although the border between Hong Kong and China remains closed, there is still robust demand for financial services, like insurance and opening brokerage accounts for US stocks, noted Leung.
The Federation of Hong Kong Zhuhai Community, which has over 5,000 member organizations in west Guangdong, also announced that it is looking to establish an office in 11 Skies to expand its footprint in both Hong Kong and GBA.
11 Skies has a total area of 3.8 million sq ft. The mixed-use development is part of the 25ha SkyCity, a mega development containing office towers, retail premises, dining venues, and entertainment facilities.
