
Genshin Impact Developer Opens Singapore HQ
SINGAPORE – HoYoverse (formerly known as miHoYo) a video game developer that is known for making the global hit “Genshin Impact”, has officially opened a headquarters in Singapore, according to a recently published press release.
Spanning 28,000 sq ft, Chinese game developer’s Singapore office features playful white and blue tones, in addition the lobby’s appearance and ambience mimic those found in video games.
HoYoverse stated that its Singapore office will accommodate a dedicated team of professionals to provide high-quality entertainment services globally.
“Our team in Singapore will play a crucial role in broadening our global development and service network,” said HoYoverse Co-founder Forrest Liu. “We’re eager for more creative minds from diverse backgrounds to join us in building the future.”
Moving forward, the game developer’s Singapore headquarters will serve as a key hub for HoYoverse’s global distribution and operation efforts, working closely with other offices across the world and providing technical support for game development.
Following the opening of its Singapore office, HoYoverse plans to add hundreds of jobs in Singapore by the end of this year. Current job openings here include professionals in marketing, engineering, game development and project management.
Moreover, HoYoverse has adopted a flexible working arrangement that encourages staff based in Singapore and North America to work wherever they feel most creative and productive.
The opening of the game developer’s Singapore headquarters follows the launch of its other offices in Montreal, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Seoul.
