Elementum To Open In One-north By Q3 2023
SINGAPORE – Elementum, a mixed-use commercial property comprising office space and laboratories for the life science sector in Singapore’s one-north, is expected to receive its temporary occupation permit (TOP) during the third quarter of next year, reported The Business Times on Thursday morning (14 July, SGT).
The 12-storey building measuring 445,000 sq ft is touted as the only new multi-user biomedical business park available for lease in the near term amid tight supply and rising demand for such properties.
Elementum is being built by Singapore-based property player Ho Bee Land, which also constructed The Metropolis, the only Grade A office tower in the one-north area in 2013. The commercial property is designed by renowned architectural firms DCA Architects, as well as Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.
Apart from containing a balanced, future-proof workplace, the building comes with a slew of features intended for biopharma and biomedical firms. These elements also enable tenants to operate soon after moving in.
For instance, the commercial property will house optimised and fitted-out lab spaces available in different of sizes with dedicated exhaust risers through the roof. These laboratories also come in scalable and modular configurations, allowing occupants to customise their space utilisation for maximum efficiency and flexibility.
Moreover, Elementum is energy-efficient. In fact, it is poised to received the Green Mark Platinum certification from Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
Besides being located in the city-state’s premier science and research district that houses start-ups and major multinational corporations, the commercial property is just a 5-minute walk from the Buona Vista MRT interchange station.
