Cushman & Wakefield Relocates To CapitaSpring

SINGAPORE – Property consultancy Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) has officially opened its new office here at CapitaSpring within the city-state’s central business district (CBD), reported The Edge on Wednesday evening (11 May, SGT).

Previously, the company was housed in Samsung Hub along Church Street.

C&W’s Chief Executive For Asia Pacific, Matthew Bouw, said Singapore is a crucial market for them as it functions as a central hub to service the real estate needs of tenants and investors across the region and the world.

“We are proud to have built a large and successful business in Singapore with operations spanning close to 50 years and a current staff strength of 2,100,” he revealed.

“Our new office with its prime business address within the CBD reflects our strong and rapidly growing reputation as a regional real estate services powerhouse and puts us at the heart of the business community where our local, regional and international clients are based,” added Anshul Jain, Managing Director for India and Southeast Asia at C&W.

Jain disclosed that the new office space at CapitaSpring will enable the property consultancy’s staff to embrace “an activity-based hybrid way of working”. In turn, this will promote better collaboration and connectivity, while also resulting in better efficiency and higher productivity.

“It is also a ‘living brochure’ where our clients can see and experience the office of the future.”
Cushman & Wakefield’s new office space includes 80 workstations and work-points to support overflow during peak hours. Half of the workspace is also dedicated to collaboration purposes: these comprise 17 meeting rooms and phone booths, in addition to open spaces.

To tackle the rising demand for flexibility at work, C&W said the new office supports a fully tech-enabled environment that fosters seamless connectivity as workers move between spaces and locations within the office.

The opening of Cushman & Wakefield’s new office in CapitaSpring follows the launch of C&W Services’ newly-transformed office at Viva Business Park in April. Notably, C&W Services is the facilities and engineering division of the property consultancy.
