UOB Plaza comprises of two towers, namely UOB Plaza 1 and UOB Plaza 2.  UOB Plaza 2 was completed in 1974 and later reconstructed in 1995 after the completion of UOB Plaza 1 on 1992. The two buildings are connected with a 6-storeys podium which is used as the banking hall of the United Overseas Bank. The building comes with a double storey sky lobby found on the 37th and 38th floors, which provide panoramic views of the city. The double storeys lobby is mainly used for transferring lifts from the lower floors to the higher floors.
