Apple Wants Staff To Work At Least 3 Days A Week In The Office

USA – In its latest attempt to return to the office after COVID-19 resurgences postponed its plans a number of times, Apple is targeting a 5 September 2022 deadline for its corporate personnel to be in their workplace at least three days a week

The tech giant will mandate its staff to work at the office every Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus a regular third day that will be decided by individual teams. This is a change from the company’s original plan, wherein it wanted them to work in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

The deadline and workdays were just announced by Apple.

Apple, which is headquartered in Cupertino in California, has been striving to get its workers to return to the office since at least June 2021, when it first declared the policy that calls for a three-day work week.

However, COVID-19 spikes compelled the tech giant to delay deadlines and left its corporate employees on two-day work week schedules.

The new policy will 1st take effect in Silicon Valley and then spread to other offices across the US and world.
