Office Space Trends: Insights from Q4 2023

During the fourth quarter of 2023, office space rentals saw only a marginal uptick of 0.3%, contrasting notably with the 4.9% surge witnessed in the previous quarter. Despite a significant reduction of 42,000 square meters in the total office space stock during Q3 2023, there was a decrease in the island-wide vacancy rate from 10.8% to 10.0%, signaling an encouraging trend towards mitigating office space vacancies. In the same quarter, while occupied office space expanded by 9,000 square meters, the overall office space stock grew by 2,000 square meters, leading to a further decline in the island-wide vacancy rate to 9.9%.
